Heat therapy. Microwave in 30 second bursts, up to 2 minutes total. Check the warmth before applying to skin. Do not overheat. Do not use if the casing is wet or damaged.
Cold therapy. Seal in a zip-lock bag and place in the freezer for 1 to 2 hours. Remove the bag before use.
